On full wave rectification we use mainly two type of circuit .

Two type of full wave rectifier circuit :   

1. Center tape full wave  rectifier 
2. Full wave bridge rectifier .

All you needs to make center tape full wave rectifier :

• Ac Supply 
• Transformer
• 2 Diodes

On upper image shown Ac signal as input and Dc signal as Output.Used 2 diod on circuit D1 and D2 .That's type of circuit we call, Center tape full wave rectifier circuit .




Circuit Icons :

I = Current 

D= Diode 

RL = Load Resistor 

T = Transformer 

+ = Positive Half Cycle 

- = Negative Half Cycle

A&B = Terminals

All you needs to make Full wave bridge rectifier :

• AC SUPPLY 
• STEP DOWN TRANSFORMER
• 4 DIODE 
• LOAD RESISTOR
